ABOUT SELLERS MIDDLE SCHOOL
The School of Global Business, Language & Leadership is a magnet program that provides students with course options that will expand their understanding of global business, grant opportunities to learn languages that will make them more competitive, and provide them with a foundation that will assist them when they transfer to high school. The following are innovative aspects of this program:

Our History
Sellers Middle School opened in 1972 as W.J. Sellers Junior High School. The school was named for Mr. W.J. Sellers who was a Garland coach, teacher, and principal. The building was expanded in 1974 and again in 2001. In 2004 Sellers Middle School was "renamed" Sellers University - an education at Sellers will get all students acceptance to any of the Garland high schools.​

In order to create an environment that is conducive for learning, Sellers University is a community that sets high expectations of decorum, integrity, and challenging academics, as well as fair and equitable treatment so our students are prepared for the endless possibilities.
